Om Koi’s ring road construction has begun which has been supported
by Her Royal Highness Princess – ‘Maha Chakri Sirindhorn,’ in order to make the villages in
the area accessible in every seasons.
This ring road is planned to be around 150 km. long and completed by 2020, which
will be costed 23.9 million
baht. This
project is funded and conducted the construction by Chiang Mai Provincial
Administrative Organization, Department of Rural Roads (PAO), and the 3rd Army
Infantry Division.
The ring road project is intended to connect 4 sub-districts in Om Koi, including Om
Koi, Na Kian, Sob Khong, and Yang Piang.
